Overview
**Junior Accountant** assists in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the accounting team with daily financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Prepare journal entries and update the general ledger.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support payroll processing and employee expense claims.
- Monitor and track company expenses and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
- Organize and maintain financial files and records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of accounting experience (fresh graduates may apply).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Tally).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
