Overview
As a **Junior Accountant**, you will be the backbone of the finance department’s daily operations.
This entry-level role is designed for a recent university graduate who is eager to translate academic theory into professional practice.
You will focus primarily on the accounts receivable cycle, ensuring that invoicing is accurate, timely, and compliant.
1. Billing & Invoicing
- Generate and distribute accurate professional invoices to clients based on contracts and purchase orders.
- Verify billing data against project logs or sales records to ensure no revenue leakage.
- Process credit memos and adjustments when necessary.
2. Data Management & Entry
- Maintain the General Ledger by recording daily financial transactions.
- Update internal databases with new client information and payment terms.
- Ensure all financial records are organized and easily retrievable for audits.
3. Accounts Receivable Support
- Monitor aging reports to identify overdue accounts.
- Assist in following up with clients regarding payment status in a professional manner.
- Reconcile bank statements against processed invoices to ensure "matching" accuracy.
4. Administrative Reporting
- Assist senior accountants in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Prepare basic financial reports (e.g., cash flow summaries or sales tax reports).
- Pay: QAR2,500.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month
