Junior Accountant
About This Role
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with daily accounting tasks, support financial reporting, and ensure accuracy in financial records. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Maintain and update accounting records and files
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Assist with audits and other financial reviews
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organizational skills
