Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and support the finance team in preparing reports and ensuring compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions
- Assist in audits and provide required documentation
- Maintain organized filing of financial documents
- Identify and report any discrepancies or issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally)
- Knowledge of local financial regulations in Qatar
