Role overview
Junior Accountant role supporting daily accounting, reporting, reconciliations, VAT work, and closing activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain daily records of invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Handle bank reconciliations and petty cash transactions.
- Assist with monthly financial reports and statements.
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, LPOs, and supporting documents.
- Record sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries accurately.
- Follow up on outstanding customer payments and supplier balances.
- Assist with VAT calculations, VAT returns, and related documentation.
- Maintain financial documents and accounting records.
- Coordinate financial matters with suppliers, customers, banks, and internal departments.
- Assist senior accountants with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure transactions comply with company policies and applicable UAE regulations.
Requirements

Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,000–3,000 per month.
