Experienced CNC Programmer / Manufacturing Engineer role focused on CNC milling, CAM programming, and precision aluminum 6082 components.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, program, and optimize CNC machining processes for precision components.
- Prepare CAM programs and optimize cutting parameters to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.
- Select cutting tools, workholding, and machining strategies; design fixtures and workholding solutions.
- Interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T; prepare CNC setup sheets and machining instructions.
- Perform or assist with probing, inspection, and precision measurement.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and improve machining processes.
Requirements and qualifications
- Minimum four years of relevant CNC milling and CAM programming experience.
- Strong knowledge of 3-axis CNC machining; 4-axis or 5-axis experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of drawings, tolerances, and GD&T; experience with CNC probing and precision measuring equipment.
- Proficiency in one or more of Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM, or Siemens NX.
- Experience with Haas, FANUC, Siemens, or DN Solutions controls is preferred.
- Practical experience machining aluminum 6082 and precision components; strong problem-solving and process-optimization skills.
- B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 5,000–7,000 per month.
Workplace and employment
- Full-time role with in-person work location.
