Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Mechanical Draftsman
to join the engineering team in Dubai.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in
water treatment projects
, particularly
Stp (Sewage Treatment Plant) Projects
, and hands-on expertise in preparing detailed mechanical drawings for fabrication, installation, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise detailed
- mechanical drawings
- using
Autocad
- Develop
- P&ID, GA, isometric, fabrication, and installation drawings
- Prepare layouts for mechanical equipment, piping systems, and skid packages
- Coordinate with mechanical engineers, project teams, and site personnel for drawing updates
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards
- Support project execution with accurate as-built documentation
- Review technical specifications, BOQs, and engineering documents
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum
- 3+ years of experience as Mechanical / MEP Draftsman
- Must be
- currently working in the water treatment industry
- Mandatory experience in
Stp (Sewage Treatment Plant) Projects
- Strong knowledge of:
- **P&ID Drawings**
- **GA Drawings**
- **Isometric Drawings**
- Mechanical equipment and piping layouts
- Proficient in
Autocad
- Familiar with engineering standards such as:
- **ASME**
- **NFPA**
- **IEC**
- Strong attention to detail and coordination skills
Preferred Background
- Candidates from reputed water treatment / EPC organizations such as:
- Veolia, VA Tech Wabag, L&T, Corodex, Metito, Ion Exchange, or Therm.
