Drawings and technical review
- Prepare detailed joinery shop, fabrication and installation drawings from architectural and interior design drawings.
- Prepare cutting lists, material take-offs and joinery specifications as required.
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications and site conditions to identify technical issues and discrepancies.
- Prepare material submittals, technical data sheets, samples and method statements where required.
Coordination and delivery
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, designers, project managers and site engineers on approvals and technical clarifications.
- Coordinate with production teams before manufacturing and with site supervisors and installation teams during execution.
- Visit sites to verify measurements and conditions before releasing drawings for production.
- Follow up on approvals, site readiness and project progress to avoid delays.
- Resolve issues involving dimensions, hardware, finishes, installation details and other trades.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
- Maintain records of drawings, revisions, approvals and technical correspondence.
Candidate qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of joinery, including wooden doors, wardrobes, cabinets, wall paneling, decorative woodwork and custom-made furniture.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and translate design requirements into practical manufacturing and installation details.
Pay
- AED 5,000–8,000 per month.
