Experienced carpenter role covering joinery workshop fabrication and installation at commercial fit-out project sites.
Work independently in the workshop and on project sites.
Fabrication and installation
- Read joinery and shop drawings and measurements; take accurate site measurements.
- Fabricate and install cabinets, counters, reception desks, wardrobes, wall panels, doors, shelving, partitions, and custom furniture.
- Work with MDF, plywood, timber, laminate, veneer, and other joinery materials.
- Perform cutting, edging, laminating, drilling, routing, grooving, assembly, and finishing.
- Install and align work on site, level it, and make necessary modifications.
- Install hinges, drawer channels, handles, locks, brackets, and furniture hardware.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and trades; maintain quality, safety, and housekeeping.
Required experience and skills
- Strong hands-on experience in joinery carpentry, fabrication, and site installation.
- Operate woodworking equipment including panel/table/circular saws, edge bander, router, drilling machine, miter saw, jigsaw, planer, sander, and power tools.
- Read drawings and take measurements.
- CNC router experience is advantageous; commercial fit-out/interior joinery experience is preferred.
- UAE experience and immediate availability are preferred; five years of carpentry experience is listed as preferred.
- Helper-level candidates will not be considered.
Pay
- Pay is AED 3,000–3,500 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person and includes joinery workshop and commercial fit-out project sites.
Assessment
