Al Zan Carpentry Works LLC seeks an experienced Joinery Painter for wooden joinery, furniture, doors, cabinets, wall panels, and custom woodwork.
The work requires hands-on experience with wood-finishing systems and consistent finishes for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare wooden surfaces and carry out sanding, filling, putty application, priming, sealing, and finishing.
- Apply paint, lacquer, PU, stain, polish, and other finishing materials; spray paint with spray guns and related equipment.
- Match colours to approved samples; perform touch-ups and rectification; inspect finished surfaces for quality.
- Maintain consistent finishes on doors, cabinets, wardrobes, wall panels, counters, furniture, and custom joinery.
- Coordinate with carpenters, supervisors, and production teams; protect completed items during handling and installation.
- Maintain tools, spray equipment, and work areas, and follow safety procedures and workshop requirements.
Requirements
- Proven Joinery Painter or Wood Painter experience, with strong wood-finishing and spray-painting experience.
- Knowledge of PU paint, lacquer, stains, polish, primers, sealers, and related materials.
- Ability to prepare surfaces, match colours and samples, and achieve smooth finishes with minimal defects.
- Familiarity with joinery workshop production; able to work independently, follow supervisor instructions, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
- UAE experience is preferred.
Preferred experience
- Preferred experience includes high-end joinery and furniture finishing, hotel and hospitality projects, villa and residential joinery, and spray booth operations.
- PU and lacquer finishes, veneer staining and polishing, matt, semi-gloss, and high-gloss finishes, and touch-up and repair work are preferred.
