Qualifications

& RequirementsExperience: 1–2 years of reception, hosting, or customer service experience in a high-volume restaurant, lounge, or nightclub.Tech-Savvy: Experience with reservation software and basic POS knowledge is highly preferred.

Skills

Excellent verbal communication, fast problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to multitask under pressure.

Attributes: High energy, a polished and trendy appearance, and a calm demeanor during loud, chaotic game days.

Availability: Must be flexible to work late nights, weekends, and major sporting holidays.

Age: Must meet local legal age requirements to work in an environment serving alcohol.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Welcome Guests:** Greet guests warmly, manage the front entrance, check IDs/dress codes, and direct visitors to the restaurant or premium lounge areas.
  • **Manage Reservations:** Oversee table bookings, walk-ins, and waitlists using digital reservation platforms to maximize seating capacity.
  • **Game-Day Coordination:** Coordinate seating configurations and guest flow specifically for major sporting events and large watch parties.
  • **Communication Hub:** Answer phone inquiries, take accurate event reservations, and communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and security.
  • **Maintain the Vibe:** Keep the front desk and entrance immaculate, organized, and welcoming at all times.
  • **Resolve Issues:** Handle guest complaints, wait-time frustrations, or seating issues with extreme professionalism and patience.
