Role and team

The role is part of International Health's Global Strategy team and reports to the Global Head of Strategy.

The team oversees portfolio strategy and strategic planning, supports inorganic growth including mergers and acquisitions, and advises businesses on strategic priorities.

The role works with the International Health Senior Leadership Team, portfolio executives, Enterprise Strategy, and external partners and advisers.

The work particularly focuses on strategic planning, strategy development, business partnership, and high-impact initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-priority strategic projects supporting growth, performance, and long-term objectives.
  • Analyze markets, competitors, customers, and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Develop insights, recommendations, and executive-level presentations.
  • Support portfolio strategy and annual strategy and business planning.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to evaluate opportunities, refine priorities, and support execution.
  • Evaluate strategic partnerships, market expansion, organic initiatives, and inorganic growth activity.

What you'll bring

  • Experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, business transformation, or a related discipline.
  • Strong financial analysis, commercial acumen, business case development, and performance evaluation skills.
  • Experience assessing markets, competitors, customers, and growth opportunities.
  • Track record leading strategic projects from analysis through recommendation and implementation.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders, communicate clearly, structure ambiguous challenges, and translate complex analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong collaboration skills in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Ability to use technology and AI-enabled tools to improve work output.
