Role

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in heavy truck and trailer spare-parts procurement.
• Specialized SCANIA parts experience, including knowledge of models, part numbers, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of spare-parts markets and suppliers in the UAE and abroad.
• Supplier negotiation skills covering price, quality, and payment terms.
• Experience importing OEM and aftermarket parts.
• Ability to manage inventory, monitor reorder levels, and ensure timely availability.
• Experience with purchase orders, quotation comparisons, and supplier evaluation.
• Coordination with workshop and maintenance teams to identify needs and reduce downtime.
• Proficiency with computer programs and procurement and inventory systems.
• UAE SCANIA spare-parts market experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procure heavy truck and trailer spare parts, particularly SCANIA parts.
• Negotiate with suppliers on prices, quality, and payment terms.
• Import original and aftermarket parts.
• Manage inventory and reorder levels to ensure parts are available when needed.
• Prepare purchase orders, compare quotations, and evaluate suppliers.
• Coordinate with workshop and maintenance teams to identify technical needs and reduce truck downtime.
