Java Technical Lead/Architect

Project description We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Lead to lead the technical development of the Platform Modernization Project for Investment Bank. This is a critical role that will drive the modernization and digital transformation initiatives for Bank's technology platform, leveraging cloud-native architecture and microservices. Responsibilities

• Define technical standards and best practices for backend development using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related technologies Lead code reviews and establish coding standards to ensure quality, maintainability, and performance Ensure on-time delivery of technical components while maintaining quality standards Manage technical risks and provide mitigation strategies to stakeholders Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, Operations, and Infrastructure Drive the adoption of CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies SKILLS Must have
• 12+ years of software development experience with Java
• 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership or architect role
• Must have worked in Platform Modernization/Migration Project for Financial Services or Banking industry
• Java Development - Strong backend Java skills in Microservices, Spring Boot, Collections, Low Latency, Multithreading, and Concurrency
• Infrastructure & DevOps
• Good Understanding of: - Deployment processes and how to deploy code to servers - Server connectivity and management - Basic system resource management (RAM, CPU allocation) - Containerization (Kubernetes, Podman) - Pipeline creation and CI/CD processes - Experience in Azure Nice to have N/A Skills
