Role Overview

Reports to the District Manager and is part of Restaurant Field Operations.

Position summary
Manages the overall operations of a Jack in the Box unit and is accountable for effective execution of the Service Profit Chain and Brand Promise.
Develops the team, delivers internal and external service, builds sales and profit, and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
Reports to the District Manager and is part of Restaurant Field Operations.
Key duties
- Recruit, select, train, develop, and evaluate employees; monitor staffing and develop internal candidates for management and Team Leader roles.
- Maintain a clean, safe, employee-friendly environment; motivate, recognize, and treat employees with respect.
- Manage daily activities to achieve strong operational performance, guest service, and food quality.
- Ensure team members follow operating systems, procedures, and food-safety requirements; maintain restaurant cleanliness and brand image.
- Interact with guests, address complaints promptly and professionally, and ensure concerns are resolved.
- Review operational and financial results and reports, identify trends, and implement action plans.
- Drive sales and profitability, assess financial decisions, monitor costs, and manage budgets and restaurant goals.
- Comply with company policies and applicable state and federal labor laws and regulations.

Pay
- The posting lists pay of USD $21–$26 per hour.
