Role Overview
Administer Windows domain servers, WiFi systems, file/print servers, and application servers that operate on a 24/7 basis.
Systems and Support Duties
- Install and configure software and hardware; manage network servers and technology tools.
- Set up accounts and workstations; manage user accounts and group permissions across domains.
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
- Troubleshoot outages and resolve critical hardware and software problems.
- Protect infrastructure servers with timely OS patches, security patches, and service packs.
- Secure systems through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
- Test system performance and provide performance statistics and reports.
- Recommend and execute modifications to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.
- Define and perform system backups and recovery procedures to protect data.
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.

- Ability to administer Windows domain servers, WiFi, file/print servers, and application servers.
- Ability to install and configure software and hardware, and set up user accounts and workstations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and system issues.
- Knowledge of access controls, backups, firewalls, and security patching.
