Overview
- Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and chat, ensuring quick resolution of user issues across various platforms.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems, utilizing remote access tools to expedite solutions without on-site visits.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies, ensuring data security and compliance.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software, ensuring users are equipped with the necessary tools to perform their duties.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.
- Hardware and Software Maintenance Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software. This includes upgrading systems, applying patches and updates, and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Network Management and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Ensure network security and monitor for any anomalies or potential threats.
- Data Backup and Recovery. Implement data backup and recovery solutions to safeguard critical organizational data. Test and verify backups to ensure data integrity.
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect against data breaches, malware, and unauthorized access. Stay current on security threats and best practices.
- Train end-users on IT best practices, security protocols, and the proper use of hardware and software tools.
- Assess IT needs and recommend hardware and software purchases. Negotiate with vendors and manage procurement processes.
