IT Project Manager

About This Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT and software projects across the full project lifecycle.
• Apply and adapt software development methodologies (Waterfall , Agile, Hybrid, etc.) based on project requirements.
• Manage the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for in-house and outsourced solutions.
• Develop, monitor, and control project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and cost optimization.
• Create and maintain project charters, schedules, risk registers, and progress reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to align IT projects with strategic objectives.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, security guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.
• Facilitate effective communication with stakeholders, presenting updates, risks, and recommendations.
• Mentor and guide junior project team members to build project management capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (required).
• Master’s degree in management, Business Administration, or IT Management (Advantage)

Professional Certifications

• PMI-PMP or equivalent certification (preferred).
• Agile certifications such as PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or SAFe (preferred).

Technical and Professional Skills

• Proven experience in IT project management (minimum 8–12 years preferred).
• Strong understanding of software project management approaches (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Hands-on knowledge of SDLC processes and software delivery frameworks.
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Trello, Asana, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and vendor contracts.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive consensus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic (mandatory).

Pay: QAR28,900.00 - QAR29,900.00 per hour

Experience:

• IT Project Manager: 8 years (Preferred)
