IT Project Manager (Digital / AI specialization)

Role Overview

Project Leadership

• Define delivery strategies, work breakdown structures, staffing models, deliverables, project plans, scope, estimates, schedules, costs, and dependencies.
• Lead project teams through influence, coordinate global internal and external relationships, and support multi-site delivery.
• Provide weekly leadership reporting covering progress, risks, issues, decisions, and recommendations.
• Manage vendors and system integrators through selection, contract negotiation, governance, financials, change controls, and delivery oversight.

PMO Delivery Management

• Maintain work plans, monitor actuals, resolve cost and schedule variances, and track deliverables against baselines.
• Control scope and requirements, manage resources and shared capacity, and oversee project risks, issues, and quality.
• Establish quality gates, coordinate assurance and control activities, and obtain stakeholder deliverable sign-offs.
• Coach IT resources and improve PMO tools, processes, methodologies, and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or a related industry is required; consumer packaged goods experience is preferred.
• At least 8 years of IT project delivery experience, including 3 to 5 years leading full delivery lifecycles and diverse teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
• Project management certification or recognized project management curriculum such as PMP or PRINCE2 is required.
• Experience with complex application delivery, multiple system integrators, and projects with budgets exceeding CAD 1 million is required.
• Expert proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project Professional, Excel, and SharePoint is required.
• French and English bilingual competency, global deployment experience, AI use case delivery, and product management experience are assets.

Salary

• The stated salary range is CAD 92,795 to CAD 121,795, with offers varying according to experience, education, skills, and training.
