Operations Engineer – Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance of assigned projects.
• Lead and participate in operations, outages, and safety meetings.
• Responsible for supporting internal applications and systems.
• Assist in the installation, racking, and cabling of equipment.
• Write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications.
• Assemble large equipment to include carts, racks, cabinets, chairs, shelving, hoods, etc.
• Assist with necessary changes to telephone system hardware and cabling.
• Ticket creation, adherence to customer sign-in and authentication procedures.
• Support various operations status, engineering review and problem boards.
• May have project lead role and/or supervise lower level personnel.
• Prepare presentations for submission to customers and internal management.
• Assist in designing and maintaining, hosting, processing, transforming, and analyzing operational processes.
• Install and maintain a wide variety of mechanical equipment within the scope of the plant operations area.
• Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans.
• Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work.
• Take appropriate actions on system alerts based on standard operating procedures.
• Perform data entry into the inventory system for all goods received.
• Consult with project teams to develop solution designs compliant with company architecture and standards.
• Provide required updates to stakeholders during critical incidents and outages.
• Operate effectively in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Prepare incident reports for business-critical incidents and unscheduled server downtime.
• Participate in on-call duty rotations.
• Write and maintain scalable, testable, versioned, and documented code for multiple games across mobile platforms.
• Design scalable and testable services and client components for consumption by game teams.
• Write, test, and maintain build and deployment scripts.
• Perform code reviews and participate in pair programming.
• Build maintainable software designed for long-term use.
• Manage Application Maintenance, Change Management, Release Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Patch Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Associate Degree with equivalent experience.
• Experience with Linux, Python, Autosys, UNIX software and systems.
• Experience with cloud software and systems.
• Strong computing, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
• Leadership mindset with a focus on incident response.
• Familiarity with frameworks and command-line processes.
• Comfortable collaborating with team members and clients.
