Systems and network management
- Administer and maintain company servers, networks, and IT infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement upgrades.
- Ensure data backups, storage, and recovery systems function effectively.
User support and troubleshooting
- Provide timely technical support to staff across departments.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and update computer systems, applications, and peripherals.
Security and business applications
- Implement security policies, firewalls, and antivirus solutions; monitor for breaches and respond to incidents.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company IT standards.
- Support ERP, HRIS, CRM, and other business applications; coordinate with vendors on upgrades, licenses, and troubleshooting.
- Train employees to use business applications and IT tools.
Assets, projects, and reporting
- Maintain IT hardware, software, and license inventories; support procurement and coordinate with vendors.
- Oversee IT equipment maintenance and disposal in line with policies.
- Assist with system migrations, cloud adoption, and infrastructure upgrades; research solutions to improve efficiency.
- Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Maintain IT documentation and prepare performance, security, and incident reports for management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant IT support or systems administration experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of networking, systems, and hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ERP/CRM and business applications.
- Knowledge of IT security protocols, backup systems, and disaster recovery planning.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills, including the ability to multitask.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
