IT Manager – Manufacturing Systems

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle Manufacturing processes for production, shop floor control, bills of material, routings, inventory, and supply chain operations.
• Configure Oracle Manufacturing modules while minimizing customizations and technical debt.
• Administer user access, authorization profiles, access levels, user IDs, and technical help desk procedures.
• Improve procedures and software customizations across business functions.
• Manage change control, application security, business continuity support, and approved system changes.
• Lead Oracle ERP customizations and enhancements from inquiry through design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Schedule and prioritize ERP tasks for on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Evaluate upgrades, new software, and system improvements for technical and functional suitability.
• Provide direct, hands-on support to business users.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Seven years of experience with Oracle ERP applications, including configuration, implementation, and support.

Technical Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Oracle Fusion Modules or JDE Manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of database technology, network technology, programming languages, operating systems, internet technology, quality management, and change management.
• Project management certification is advantageous.
