Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee and manage the hospital’s IT systems, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient support for clinical and administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the hospital’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, systems, and hardware
- Ensure security, and performance of hospital IT systems
- Support clinical systems such as HIS, EMR/EHR, PACS, LIS, and other healthcare applications
- Oversee data security, backups, disaster recovery, and compliance with healthcare standards
- Manage IT vendors, service providers, and contracts
- Lead and support the IT team, including task allocation and performance monitoring
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues promptly to minimize operational disruption
- Provide IT support and training to hospital staff
- Prepare IT reports, documentation, and budgets as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as IT Manager or Senior IT role (hospital or healthcare experience preferred)
- Experience with hospital information systems is highly desirable
- Willingness to relocate and work in Nauru
- Network administration and cybersecurity
- Hospital Information Systems (HIS), EMR/EHR and (PMS) and POS systems.
