Job Purpose

Adecco Middle East is seeking an experienced and business-oriented

It Lead

to support and drive IT and Digital initiatives across the United Arab Emirates and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This role goes beyond traditional IT support and infrastructure management; it requires a strategic partner who can work closely with business leaders to understand operational priorities, align technology solutions with business objectives, and contribute to organizational growth and transformation.

As the local IT leader, you will act as the primary liaison between regional business stakeholders, global IT teams, and external technology partners.

You will serve as the

Point Of Contact (Poc)

for all IT and Digital topics, ensuring technology enables business performance, enhances user experience, and supports innovation, including the adoption of AI and emerging digital tools.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with commercial awareness, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.

Business Partnership & Strategy

  • Act as a trusted IT Business Partner to country leadership teams and business stakeholders across United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business objectives, challenges, and priorities, translating them into effective technology solutions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to leverage technology, automation, AI, and digital tools to improve efficiency, productivity, and business outcomes.
  • Partner with regional and global IT teams to ensure local business needs are represented and aligned with global technology strategies.
  • Provide executive-level updates and insights to senior leadership on key IT initiatives, risks, opportunities, and performance.

It Operations & Infrastructure

  • Own and manage local Infrastructure & Operations topics across both countries.
  • Manage and oversee the onboarding technology process for new employees, including email setup, network access, internet connectivity, VPN access, hardware allocation, and business applications.
  • Ensure stable, secure, and efficient IT services that support day-to-day business operations.
  • Manage relationships with local technology vendors and service providers to ensure service excellence and value for money.

Governance & Digital Transformation

  • Support the business on IT governance, compliance, security, and policy-related matters.
  • Lead and support the adoption of AI technologies, emerging digital tools, and new business applications.
  • Drive user engagement and change management initiatives to maximize technology adoption and business value.
  • Own the Critical Application Change Management Process and ensure appropriate governance and stakeholder alignment.

Financial Management

  • Own and manage the local IT budget, ensuring cost efficiency, transparency, and alignment with business priorities.
  • Track expenditures, forecast technology investments, and provide recommendations to optimize IT spending.

Education

  • Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar IT leadership, IT business partnering, or IT management role.
  • Experience supporting multiple countries, offices, or business units is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, end-user computing, IT operations, governance, and digital workplace technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with senior business stakeholders and translate business needs into technology solutions.
  • Experience driving digital transformation, AI adoption, and technology change initiatives.
  • Strong vendor management and budgeting experience.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
