IT Infrastructure Manager

Role Overview

Infrastructure Management

• Manage enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewalls.
• Oversee server environments, virtualisation platforms, and cloud services.
• Manage Microsoft 365 and cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure optimal performance, availability, and capacity planning of IT systems.
• Maintain storage solutions, backup systems, and disaster recovery sites.
• Manage data centre and server room infrastructure.
• Manage IP telephony and communication systems.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Implement and maintain IT security controls and policies.
• Manage firewalls, endpoint protection, access controls, and vulnerability remediation.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, IT policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and security reviews.

Operations & Support

• Ensure 24/7 availability of critical IT services.
• Lead incident management and problem resolution activities.
• Monitor infrastructure health and system performance.
• Manage system upgrades, patches, and technology refresh initiatives.

Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Conduct periodic backup verification and recovery testing.
• Minimise operational risks through proactive infrastructure management.

Team Leadership & Projects

• Lead and mentor system administrators, network engineers, and IT support staff.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and support staff development.
• Promote best practices and continuous improvement within the IT team.
• Plan and lead infrastructure projects and support digital transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate with business departments and external partners.
• Coordinate infrastructure requirements for ERP, MES, CCTV, access control, telecommunications, and other business systems.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• ITIL 4 Foundation.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
• IT cybersecurity certification is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of IT experience, including at least 3-5 years in infrastructure management.
