Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Designer to join our organisation in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing comprehensive IT infrastructure solutions tailored to support airport operations.
• The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all infrastructure systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with aviation industry standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a similar field of study
• Design and develop IT infrastructure architectures that support airport operational requirements, including network systems, data centres, and communication platforms
• Conduct thorough analysis of existing infrastructure to identify inefficiencies and recommend strategic improvements
• Prepare detailed technical specifications, system designs, and architecture documentation for stakeholder review and approval
• Collaborate with airport operations teams, security personnel, and external stakeholders to gather and analyse infrastructure requirements
• Ensure all infrastructure designs comply with aviation security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
• Perform capacity planning and forecasting to anticipate future infrastructure needs and scalability requirements
• Oversee the implementation and deployment of infrastructure solutions, working closely with technical teams
• Establish monitoring and performance metrics to assess infrastructure health and optimise system efficiency
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and develop solutions to maintain system reliability and uptime
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and technical specifications
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry developments relevant to airport IT infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a similar field of study
• Minimum 10 years' experience in IT infrastructure design and implementation within large-scale projects
• Proven expertise in network architecture, systems design, and infrastructure design and planning
• Strong knowledge of data center design, virtualization platforms, and cloud infrastructure solutions
• Demonstrated experience with infrastructure monitoring and management tools
• Solid understanding of security protocols, data protection, and compliance frameworks
• Experience in capacity planning, performance analysis, and system optimization
• Familiarity with aviation industry operations and airport infrastructure requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong project management capabilities and ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently
• Exceptional technical documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Organized approach to work with the ability to priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
