IT Infrastructure Architect

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience across infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity domains.
• 5+ years in enterprise or solution architecture roles within large, complex organizations.
• At least 7 years of experience, including 5+ years as a Solution Architect in large-scale security and enterprise infrastructure implementation projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of .NET Core, Java Spring, or Node.js; cloud-native services on AWS, Azure, or GCP; event streaming and NoSQL; data platforms; APIs and microservices.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, DevSecOps, infrastructure as code, Agile/SAFe, digital transformation, and data security and privacy frameworks.
• Strong presentation, communication, conflict management, logical reasoning, structured design, problem-solving, influencing, and negotiation skills.

Infrastructure architecture responsibilities

• Define target-state architecture across data centers, networks, compute, storage, and end-user platforms.
• Lead data-center optimization, virtualization, and platform rationalization.
• Govern high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity architectures.
• Establish infrastructure standards, patterns, and reference architectures.
• Design and govern Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure architecture and cloud landing zones.
• Architect hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity using VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, FastConnect, and SD-WAN.
• Guide cloud migration and drive security, resilience, FinOps, cost, and performance optimization.
• Establish multi-AZ and multi-region cloud resilience, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.

Cybersecurity architecture responsibilities

• Define end-to-end cybersecurity architecture across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Architect Zero Trust across identity, device, network, and application layers.
• Govern NGFW, SASE/SSE, CSPM, CWPP, IAM/PAM, EDR/XDR, DLP, and encryption platforms.
• Define cloud security controls for encryption, key and secrets management, and secure APIs.
• Partner with SOC teams on SIEM/SOAR integration, threat detection, and incident-response architecture.
• Serve as architectural authority and guide critical IT projects to follow established frameworks and best practices.
