Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational management and expansion of terminal IT infrastructure and cloud-based systems, including budgets, vendors, contracts, SLAs, and AMCs.
- Maintain network availability using redundant ISP connections, SD-WAN architecture, and continuous monitoring.
- Design and test high-availability failover, off-site recovery, and cloud backup procedures.
- Coordinate with Vopak Global IT and Division IT teams and oversee installation and upgrades of servers, network devices, firewalls, and shared software.
- Maintain uptime across physical and virtual servers, hardware, and core software, and oversee helpdesk support.
- Conduct cybersecurity awareness training and enforce access controls, data protection, governance, risk management, and audit readiness.
Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering in IT with at least three years of experience, or an IT degree with at least five years of experience in a similar field.
- IT certification is preferred.
- Good knowledge of spreadsheets and word-processing applications.
- Awareness of customer needs, sound oral and written English, and ability to work as part of a team.
