The firm serves clients across industries and delivers large-scale international strategic projects.

Role overview

Techso is expanding its team and seeks a Business Analyst for client projects across Canada.

The role requires mobility within the Montreal area to adapt to client schedules and fluency in French and English for daily communication.

Candidates should be comfortable with complex, evolving environments.

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders and business and IT architects to develop business cases and clarify business context, issues, and objectives.
  • Analyze current states and processes; gather, validate, and formalize business needs and requirements.
  • Assess solution scenarios, recommend options, and define solution components including the minimum viable product.
  • Estimate costs and effort, identify delivery risks, and contribute to implementation planning and change strategies.
  • Support procurement activities, participate in execution and product backlog management, and contribute to strategic business cases in financial and monetary exchange contexts.

Required qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in pre-project phases such as business cases and opportunity assessments.
  • Experience with large-scale, complex initiatives.
  • Fluent spoken and written French and English.
  • Strong analysis, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, client orientation, autonomy, leadership, attention to detail, and adaptability.
  • Comfort working in agile environments.

Assets

  • IIBA certification such as CBAP or CCBA, SAFe certification, and BDNM certification are assets.
