Bridge business operations and technology delivery by identifying, analysing and documenting requirements for process improvements, system enhancements and new development.
Focus on Visualfiles New Work Requests, ensuring they are triaged, scoped, documented and translated into technical deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Triage Visualfiles requests, gather requirements through stakeholder engagement and discovery, and validate them against business objectives.
- Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria and technical deliverables; support prioritisation by value, risk and complexity.
- Map current and future processes, create workflow documentation, assess impacts and identify dependencies, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Act as liaison between business users and technical teams, manage expectations and secure requirement and solution sign-off.
- Support solution reviews, UAT, implementation, business readiness and monitoring of delivered outcomes.
Essential requirements
- Proven Business Analyst experience in technology, legal, financial services or professional services.
- Strong requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder facilitation, process mapping and workflow design capability.
- Able to translate business needs into technical specifications and perform impact assessments and gap analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently and manage multiple workstreams.
Desirable experience
- Experience with Visualfiles or other case-management or workflow platforms.
- Experience in conveyancing, legal services or regulated environments.
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall, Lean or Six Sigma, workflow automation, AI or digital transformation.
