Role Overview As IT Audit Manager , you will play a critical role in strengthening Wio’s technology control environment. You will lead and execute audits across IT, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and data governance, while shaping the audit automation and analytics strategy for the Internal Audit function.

This role requires deep technical expertise, strong regulatory awareness, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a fast-paced digital banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform IT, cybersecurity, and data audits, ensuring robust risk identification, control assessments, and compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks (including UAE Information Assurance Regulation and Data Protection Laws).
• Assess IT and technology risks across Wio’s cloud-native infrastructure and microservices architecture, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory expectations.
• Design, develop, and continuously enhance audit frameworks, methodologies, and standards to strengthen the internal control environment.
• Partner closely with IT, Information Security, Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure smooth audit execution, effective remediation, and consistent implementation of corrective actions.
• Deliver clear, insightful reporting to senior management and relevant governance forums on audit outcomes, risk exposures, and mitigation progress.
• Build organisational capability by training staff on IT controls, cybersecurity, data governance, and internal audit policies—embedding a strong culture of security and compliance.
• Define and lead the audit platform and automation strategy, including oversight of analytics capabilities and management of Analytics Engineers supporting the Internal Audit function.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in IT audit, cybersecurity, or data protection within a financial services environment, ideally within a fintech or digital-first organisation.
• Strong hands-on experience auditing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices-based architectures.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regulations, including ISO 27001, NIST, Data Protection Laws, and UAE Information Assurance Regulation.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, with strong communication, presentation, and advisory skills.
• Working knowledge of data analytics (SQL and/or Python) and experience leveraging automation tools is a strong advantage.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CISA and/or CISSP are highly desirable.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the agility to thrive in a fast-paced digital banking environment.
