About This Role
Overview
- Plan, design, implement, and maintain physical and virtual IT systems including servers, network infrastructure, and software applications.
- Administer Active Directory, Office 365, VMware ESXi.
- Configure and maintain firewalls (SonicWall, pfSense), L2/L3 D-Link switches, and enterprise wireless networks.
- Manage NAS for shared storage and disaster recovery (DR); perform server backups using Veeam with replication across data centres and branches.
- Administer centralized antivirus/antimalware protection (Avast) and maintain a tested disaster recovery plan.
- Provide administration and technical support for enterprise applications: LMS, ERP, HRMS, CMS, and Zoho.
- Manage biometric time & attendance systems (face recognition and RFID) and smart signage/device infrastructure (Smart TVs).
- Support AV setups, smart boards, and multimedia systems across classrooms, halls, and common areas.
- Coordinate technical support with external software vendors including Koha, OPEC, and Focus.
- Administer Avaya IP PBX telephone systems and manage corporate communication lines via Etisalat portal.
- Configure and maintain VPN access for remote users and ensure secure interconnectivity across all sites.
- Configure and oversee CCTV surveillance systems and biometric access controls.
- Monitor system performance and ensure security compliance across all IT assets.
- Contribute to IT strategy development, annual budget planning, and policy formulation.
- Assess, recommend, and coordinate procurement of new IT equipment and software with vendors.
