Overview
United Equipment Group, an established heavy equipment and contracting company operating across Qatar and KSA, is seeking an IT Administrator to manage and maintain our IT operations across the business.
This is a hands-on role for someone who keeps systems, networks, and infrastructure running reliably and securely, and provides dependable IT support across our offices and sites.
You will be responsible for the smooth, secure, and well-maintained running of all IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure: network, servers, email, and end-user systems
- Ensure systems are reliable, secure, and regularly backed up, and resolve issues proactively
- Provide IT support to users across offices and sites, resolving hardware and software issues
- Administer user accounts, access rights, and IT security controls
- Manage and maintain CCTV, hardware, and IT setup across locations
- Implement and maintain IT security and data protection measures
- Maintain IT documentation, asset records, and system configurations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT administration or a similar role
- Solid knowledge of networks, servers, and IT infrastructure administration
- Experience with system backups, IT security, and user/access management
- Knowledge of network and CCTV setup and troubleshooting
- Practical, methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving issues
- Able to work independently and take ownership of the IT function
- Valid QID with transferable visa / NOC preferred
