Role purpose
The IT Administrator supports reliable, secure, and efficient hotel IT operations and provides day-to-day technical support to hotel Hosts.
The role supports business-critical and guest-facing systems, infrastructure and applications, and compliance with Marriott standards and cybersecurity requirements.
Schedule and location
- Full-time position at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi; the posting states it is not remote.
- The listed location is Nation Tower, Corniche, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Support and systems
- Provide first- and second-level support for hardware, software, applications, networks, printing, mobile devices, and related services.
- Support PMS, POS, Microsoft 365, telephony, guest-facing systems, IPTV/digital signage, access control, and hospitality applications.
- Assist with servers, virtualization, storage, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, backups, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Resolve incidents and coordinate escalations with Marriott technology teams, vendors, and support partners.
Security and operations
- Support Active Directory, accounts, security groups, application access, and periodic access reviews.
- Assist with cybersecurity controls, endpoint protection, patching, vulnerability remediation, assessments, audits, and IT compliance.
- Monitor backups and take part in contingency, business continuity, and disaster recovery activities.
- Maintain IT asset inventories, documentation, support records, and lifecycle information; support maintenance, upgrades, implementations, testing, and projects.
- Provide basic user guidance and training and support reliable services, guest satisfaction, efficient technology use, and compliance with IT and data protection standards.
Preferred qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Two to three years in IT support, systems administration, infrastructure support, or a similar role is preferred.
- Hotel, hospitality, or another 24/7 operational environment experience is highly desirable.
