Join the Creativity Apps team to architect and build media management and collaboration features for creative tools.
Work with teams behind Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and iWork on next-generation tools for creators.
Responsibilities
- Set direction and architecture for new collaborative features in the creative space.
- Drive features from concept through delivery and influence user interface decisions and project planning.
- Collaborate with human interface designers, quality assurance teams, and cross-functional partners.
Minimum qualifications
- At least two years of experience shipping high-quality, tested code on iOS and/or macOS.
- Strong understanding of architectural patterns used in Apple-platform development.
- Solid computer science fundamentals and object-oriented design.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and at least one of SwiftUI, UIKit, or AppKit.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and take ownership of product features.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Interest in Apple creative apps such as Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, iMovie, or GarageBand.
- Experience with modern Swift concurrency, including async/await and actors.
- Proficiency with Swift Testing and/or XCTest.
- Commitment to accessibility and localization.
Compensation
- Base pay range is stated as $119,100 to $230,500; the description does not specify the pay cadence.
- The role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments and relocation.
