The role

Build and scale the Atlys iOS app to help travellers apply for visas through their phones.

The role focuses on native iOS development, performance, polish, reliability, and end-to-end feature ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Build Swift and SwiftUI experiences for visa discovery, document upload, payments, and application tracking.
  • Manage launch time, crashes, memory use, and app size across devices, iOS versions, and network conditions.
  • Build native experiences for AI-powered document capture and conversational assistance.
  • Partner with product, design, and backend teams; run experiments and iterate on features based on data.
  • Raise engineering quality through architecture, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.

Ideal candidate

  • 3–5 years of iOS development experience, including shipping and scaling a consumer app on the App Store.
  • Strong Swift, including async/await, with hands-on SwiftUI and UIKit experience.
  • Knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, or TCA; dependency injection; and modularization with Swift Package Manager.
  • Experience with REST/GraphQL, URLSession, Core Data or SwiftData, and offline-first patterns.
  • Experience measuring app health with tools such as Xcode Instruments, Firebase Crashlytics, XCTest, and analytics or experimentation SDKs.
