Role overview

Investment assessment and transactions

• Identify and assess attractive investment opportunities across local and regional markets.
• Conduct comprehensive financial and investment analysis to support decisions.
• Build and review models using NPV, IRR, ROI, payback period, sensitivity analysis, and scenario analysis.
• Evaluate acquisitions, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and other investment opportunities.
• Lead and coordinate financial, legal, commercial, operational, and technical due diligence.
• Participate in transactions from initial evaluation and structuring through negotiation and closing.

Portfolio, risk, and governance

• Monitor existing investments and portfolio performance and recommend corrective actions when needed.
• Identify investment risks and develop mitigation strategies, risk limits, early-warning indicators, and exit plans.
• Support investment policies, governance frameworks, and approval processes.
• Support financing strategies and evaluate optimal capital structures.

Reporting and relationships

• Prepare investment proposals and Board and senior-management presentations covering opportunities, alternatives, risks, returns, scenarios, and recommendations.
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, funds, banks, developers, advisors, and relevant stakeholders.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 12 or more years of relevant experience in investment, portfolio management, corporate finance, private equity, real estate investment, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in an Investment Manager or comparable managerial role.
• Demonstrated experience in investment transactions, M&A, strategic partnerships, financing, and/or real estate development.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, feasibility study, and investment analysis capabilities.
• Strong understanding of investment risk management and portfolio performance.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.

Preferred qualifications

• MBA, Master’s in Finance/Investment, or a related postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• CFA and/or CAIA certification is highly preferred.
