Role overview

Planning and inventory

• Forecast EOIR production and MRO demand using historical consumption, repair trends, and production schedules.
• Coordinate material requirements with Production, Engineering, and MRO; adjust procurement and stocking plans as demand changes.
• Plan EO components, electronic modules, mechanical parts, optics, and consumables; maintain safety stock and reorder points.
• Ensure materials support production, repairs, and return-to-service; address slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory.

Procurement and systems

• Raise ERP purchase requisitions and coordinate RFQs, vendor selection, and commercial alignment with Procurement.
• Track purchase orders and supplier delivery commitments; monitor lead times and escalate delays affecting production or MRO.
• Maintain material master data, BOM structures, inventory parameters, and supplier records in ERP; support cycle counts and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with MRO on repair pipelines, failure trends, critical spares, turnaround time, and warranty-related materials.

Reporting and compliance

• Produce inventory, purchase-order, material-availability, and risk reports; provide management updates on shortages, supplier risks, and mitigation plans.
• Support budgeting and cost control, and maintain documentation, traceability, and audit trails for controlled or classified materials.
• Ensure inventory and procurement comply with defense regulations and quality standards.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience raising purchase requisitions and tracking purchase orders through ERP systems.
• Strong Excel, analytical, planning, and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of compliance, traceability, and controlled-material handling.
• Ability to coordinate across Production, MRO, Procurement, and Finance departments.

Preferred qualifications

• Four to six years of inventory planning and procurement coordination experience in production or MRO is preferred; defense or aerospace experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of EOIR components, electronics, and mechanical assemblies is preferred.
