Role Overview
International group expanding European cheese manufacturing operations seeks an International Commercial Lead.
The role is a hunter role focused on winning new business, opening markets, building distribution partnerships and generating recurring sales volumes.
Key Responsibilities
- Win new customers across international export markets.
- Develop importers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, private-label buyers and industrial food manufacturers.
- Build strategic partnerships and negotiate profitable supply agreements.
- Commercialise manufacturing capacity into recurring customer demand.
- Own the sales pipeline, new-market development and commercial performance.
Requirements
- International sales/export experience in cheese, dairy, food manufacturing, food ingredients or related sectors.
- Demonstrable new-business wins and market-opening experience.
- Relevant customer, importer or distributor relationships.
- Experience with pricing, margins, contracts and international supply chains.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
Preferred Experience
- Experience across Europe, the Middle East and Africa is valuable.
- Exposure to industrial cheese applications, private label and foodservice is advantageous.
