Work with senior management and stakeholders to identify risks, strengthen controls, and support continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a risk-based internal audit plan.
- Lead audit engagements across business and operational areas.
- Evaluate internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
- Identify control gaps, risks, and process-improvement opportunities.
- Prepare audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Present findings to senior management and relevant committees.
- Monitor implementation of agreed recommendations.
Requirements and expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Auditing, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant Internal Audit experience; supervisory or managerial experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of internal audit methodologies, internal controls, risk management, and corporate governance.
- Strong analytical, leadership, report-writing, and stakeholder-management skills.
- CIA, CPA, SOCPA, CISA, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
