Team Overview

Internship Responsibilities

• Research Social Commerce innovation, emerging platforms, and shifting consumer behavior across markets.
• Support TikTok Shop go-to-market strategy by identifying consumer moments, assortments, and activation strategies.
• Help build a brand playbook for new brand and product launches on TikTok Shop.
• Use TikTok Shop sales and consumer data to identify category and brand whitespace opportunities.
• Research creator and content data to identify effective content attributes and resonant creators.
• Provide TikTok Shop guest-experience insights to inform the product enhancement roadmap.
• Identify creator engagement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in strategy, merchandising, marketing, business, eCommerce, communications, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Analytical thinking, collaboration, strong verbal and written communication, and time management skills.
• Accuracy in data collection and analysis through coursework, projects, or work experience.
• Interest in strategy and innovation, with the ability to structure findings into clear insights and actions.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with multiple levels of leadership.

Program Requirements

• Must be a rising junior or senior enrolled in an accredited undergraduate university during summer 2027.
• Must be local to the Chicago area or able to work from the Bolingbrook Corporate office at least six days per month.
• Previous work experience and active involvement in campus organizations or activities.

Compensation

• The pay range is $25.00 per hour.
• Eligible associates may earn overtime pay as required by applicable law.
