Role overview

Intern experience

• Intern programming includes conferences, Bombardier product learning, site visits, the Bombardier Academy of Learning, volunteering, and networking opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze performance metrics and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Assist in developing and maintaining KPIs and executive reporting packages; validate data quality and resolve discrepancies.
• Improve reporting efficiency and support Power BI dashboard and report development, maintenance, and enhancement.
• Document business processes and reporting requirements; extract, review, and organize data from various sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture reporting requirements accurately.
• Explore AI and automation to improve operational workflows; participate in meetings, project discussions, and process reviews.
• Prepare presentations, documentation, and executive summaries.

Candidate requirements

• Currently enrolled in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field; internship opportunities are for students, not new graduates.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365; ability to organize and analyze large data sets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, initiative, accountability, and willingness to learn.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Power BI; familiarity with Salesforce CRM.
• Interest in data visualization and dashboard design; knowledge of SQL, Power Query, and DAX.

Location and work arrangement

• The listed work location is the Completion Center; the workplace arrangement is flexible hybrid.
• Interns may occasionally need to travel outside Canada for training or work.

Internship duration

• The internship duration is four months.
