Security operations
- Monitor, restore, change, and support security systems and tools; produce activity reports.
- Coordinate incident management, deploy production changes, and engage third-party providers during incidents.
- Handle service requests and queries within service-level agreements; recommend improvements to security processes and systems.
Documentation and collaboration
- Develop procedures aligned with industry practices and bank security standards; prepare end-user materials.
- Gather and document requirements for audits, reports, and projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, support technical development and mentoring, and keep current with industry developments.
Qualifications
- Typically 2–4 years of relevant experience and a related post-secondary degree, or equivalent training, certifications, or work experience.
- Experience in Information Security or multiple systems and computer operations areas, such as IAM, IT operations, key management, security platform administration, or incident response.
- Knowledge of security operations, processes, procedures, controls, and the impact of security platforms on the operating environment.
- Communication, partnering, negotiation, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills; technical proficiency and data-driven decision-making.
- A related certification is preferred, especially Information Security certification from (ISC)2, ISACA, SANS, or another recognized institution.
Pay
