Core Responsibilities

• **IAM Architecture:**
• Design and deploy scalable IAM solutions, including

Single Sign-On (SSO)

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

• , and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
• **System Integration:**
• Develop and maintain integrations between SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Slack, Workday) and internal systems using

APIs (REST/SOAP)

• and middleware.
• **Identity Lifecycle Management:**
• Automate the "Joiner-Mover-Leaver" (JML) process to ensure user provisioning and de-provisioning are instantaneous and audited.
• **Protocol Mastery:**
• Implement and troubleshoot authentication and authorization standards such as

SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and LDAP

• .
• **Directory Services:**
• Manage and optimize cloud and on-prem directory services (e.g., Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, Ping Identity, or Active Directory).
• **Security & Compliance:**
• Ensure all integrations meet SOC2, GDPR, or HIPAA requirements.
• Conduct regular access reviews and audit logs to detect anomalous behavior.
• **Automation:**
• Use scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) to eliminate manual tasks and build custom "glue" code for non-native integrations.

Technical Requirements

• Hands-on experience with
• Okta, Azure AD (Entra ID), Auth0, or Ping.
• Experience with

Workato, MuleSoft, Zapier

• , or custom-built API connectors.
• Deep understanding of

SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect

Preferred Qualifications

• A "detective" mindset—the ability to look at a failed login or a broken API call and find the root cause in the handshake.
