Multiple insurance opportunities

Hays is recruiting for multiple positions with brokerages across Melbourne, Greater Melbourne, and regional Victoria.

Opportunities span assistant, broker, account executive, claims specialist and assistant, account manager, and director levels.

Available roles include corporate broking, commercial and professional risks account management, SME and property account executive roles, assistant broker roles, and property and motor claims assistant roles.

Role duties vary by position

  • Manage commercial or SME client portfolios, domestic books, and niche or specialized placements.
  • Support senior brokers with renewals, endorsements, and client queries.
  • Develop tailored insurance solutions across a range of industries.
  • Build client relationships and provide high-quality advice.
  • Work with insurers to negotiate competitive outcomes.
  • Contribute to business growth through service and professionalism.

Candidate requirements

  • Previous insurance broking or underwriting experience, or general insurance experience such as claims, disputes, or client management.
  • Tier 1 or Tier 2 ANZIIF qualification, or working toward one.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive approach and commitment to customer service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
