Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair field instruments and control systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in instrumentation, control valves, transmitters, analyzers, sensors, gauges, and PLC based systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation equipment
- Calibrate pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments using standard calibration equipment
- Read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Test and commission newly installed instrumentation systems
- Maintain maintenance records and calibration certificates
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and permit to work systems
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams during shutdowns and maintenance activities
- Report equipment deficiencies and recommend improvements
Requirements
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience in industrial instrumentation maintenance
- Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, power plant, or manufacturing industries preferred
- Knowledge of pressure, temperature, flow, and level instrumentation
- Experience with control valves, transmitters, analyzers, and PLC/DCS systems
- Proficiency in calibration and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instrumentation diagrams
- Good problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to install, inspect, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial instrumentation and control systems.
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

- Technical certification in Instrumentation is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial instrumentation maintenance.
- Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, power plant, or manufacturing industries is preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of pressure, temperature, flow, and level instrumentation.
- Experience with control valves, transmitters, analyzers, and PLC/DCS systems.
- Proficiency in calibration and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instrumentation diagrams.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and instrumentation standards.
- Good problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Certifications
- CompEx (for hazardous areas) – preferred.
- HART Communicator certification.
- Valid safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, H2S, Confined Space, Working at Heights) are an advantage.
