Overview
The Telecom & IT Inspector is responsible for monitoring telecom and IT infrastructure performance, ensuring reliable communication networks and system availability across transport operations.
Your role
- Inspect telecom infrastructure including fiber networks, switches, routers, servers and communication systems.
- Monitor contractor performance in maintaining network uptime, connectivity and system reliability.
- Verify compliance with technical specifications, cybersecurity standards and operational requirements.
- Identify faults, network degradation and system issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Coordinate with NOC, data center and ITS teams to resolve critical communication and system issues.
- About you
- Minimum 5+ years experience in telecom, IT infrastructure or ITS systems within transport or large infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of network systems, communication protocols and IT infrastructure.
- Experience in system inspections, troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
- Familiarity with data centers, cybersecurity practices and enterprise IT systems.
