Works with the Flow Controls Sales Team on project pursuits, competitive quotations, technical solutions, and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide quotation support for assigned MEA countries and KOB2 project opportunities; support severe-service RFQs and special applications.
- Size, select, and price control valves, severe-service products, and related solutions; support obsolete and inactive products.
- Address customer-specific technical and commercial requirements and ensure prompt RFQ turnaround in line with departmental KPIs.
- Prepare timely quotations and coordinate Quote-to-Cash activities and order execution with internal teams.
- Provide application engineering, technical, and pricing support to customers and sales teams.
- Identify product gaps and support product development, portfolio reviews, and roadmap discussions.
- Present product capabilities, success stories, and applications to local business partners and end users.
- Collaborate with sales teams, follow up on quotations and purchase orders, and support business growth and conversion.
- Coordinate with factories on delivery and with project management, order entry, and customer fulfillment teams on order handovers.
- Work with consultants, customers, and end users on specifications and preferences; conduct Fisher product presentations and support engineering standards updates.
- Prepare quotation reports, forecasts, and sales support analysis; support troubleshooting and site visits when required.
- Comply with Emerson ethics and trade requirements and stay informed about industry developments, market trends, and product updates.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in the control valve industry.
- Fisher Junior Master – Red Belt Certification or equivalent, and Fisher Fieldvue Champion Certification or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of control valve products and application engineering; experience in quotation preparation, technical support, and customer engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and fluent written and spoken English.
Preferred qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of control valve products, MEA customer specifications, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of severe-service products and applications, Quote-to-Cash processes, and Minimum Initial Bid strategies.
- Experience supporting KOB1 and KOB2 projects in MEA; experience with Fisher FF2 sizing and selection tools.
- Familiarity with project management, order entry, and customer order fulfillment processes.
- Knowledge of midstream, refining, oil and gas processes, special control valve applications, commercial terms, and trade compliance.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and P&IDs and make sound technical decisions using engineering principles and industry standards.
