Infrastructure Forman

Job purpose

Site supervision and execution

• Supervise excavation, backfilling, compaction, water, sewer, storm drainage and irrigation pipe laying, duct banks, manholes, chambers, kerbs, interlock paving, and asphalt works.
• Interpret construction and shop drawings and method statements; set out work with the surveyor and check levels, alignments, and gradients.
• Coordinate daily and weekly work plans with the Site Engineer and ensure compliance with project and authority requirements, including DEWA, RTA, Etisalat/du, and municipality requirements.

Manpower and equipment

• Allocate and supervise labourers, operators, and subcontractor crews to meet daily targets.
• Plan and control equipment use, monitor worker attendance and productivity, and report problems to the Site Engineer.
• Train and guide workers on correct work methods.

Health, safety, and environment

• Enforce PPE, safe excavation and shoring, traffic management, and work permit rules; conduct daily toolbox talks.
• Identify and protect underground utilities before excavation using NOCs, trial pits, and utility drawings.
• Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, support investigations, and keep the site clean and hazard-free.

Quality, reporting, and coordination

• Check that materials and workmanship meet approved standards; coordinate compaction tests, pressure tests, and pipeline CCTV surveys with QA/QC and the consultant.
• Resolve defects and snag items promptly; prepare daily progress reports and maintain inspection requests, permits, and daily logs.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, other trades, and authority inspectors, and raise delays, design clashes, and site problems early.

Requirements

• At least two years of infrastructure foreman experience.
• Work location is in person; Dubai is listed as preferred.
• Working hours must follow UAE labour rules, including the summer midday break.

Pay

• Pay is up to AED 1,500 per month.
