Infrastructure Draftsman

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare CAD drawings for sewerage, drainage networks, and underground utilities.
• Develop microtunnelling drawings for tunnel alignments, launch/reception shafts, pipe profiles, and associated structures.
• Prepare layouts, longitudinal profiles, cross-sections, and construction details; incorporate design changes, site updates, and as-built information.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to resolve discrepancies; check accuracy, dimensions, levels, gradients, and constructability.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable Dubai authority requirements; maintain revisions and documentation.

Qualifications and experience

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of infrastructure drafting experience, with strong expertise in microtunnelling, sewerage, and stormwater drainage.
• Consultant-side experience in infrastructure design or supervision is preferred.
• UAE project experience and knowledge of Dubai authority requirements are preferred.
• Experience with underground utilities, deep sewer networks, manholes, and shafts.
